Recruiter- Cyber Security, Part-Time/ On Call

ICF is growing and we’re hiring experienced Cybersecurity Recruiters to work on-call. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, or full life cycle recruiting, often for fast-turn results.  You can work remotely in this role and hours may vary but based on our growth plans, we expect to keep you busy!  We anticipate approximately 20 hours per week. What you will do:

  • Sourcing for Cyber, IT and currently cleared candidates. Roles may include Net Defense Analysts, Data Scientist/Machine Learning, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Cyber Watch Engineers, Insider Threat Analysts, Cloud/Linux Systems Administrators, Network Security Analysts, Vulnerability Specialists, Cybersecurity NIST consultants, Big Data SMEs and Penetration Testers.
  • Develop and define competitive intelligence by key market, functional area and skill set to support talent pipeline initiatives
  • Interact with ICF Recruiters and Hiring Managers to ensure a continuous information flow and the seamless delivery of qualified candidates
  • Use our ATS, Workday to update candidate records
  • Demonstrate creative advertising/outreach/networking techniques including the use of job boards, industry groups and social media
  • Ensure hiring processes adhere to EEO and OFCCP guidelines in addition to other government compliance requirements


 What you will need:

  •  Minimum 3+ years of Cybersecurity recruitment with 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated success attracting passive candidates and current links to niche Cybersecurity and IT communities
  • Demonstrated understanding of cleared work and hands on experience recruiting for talent in the relevant federal agencies
  • Advanced skills in web search/sourcing, networking and direct sourcing
  • Knowledge of certifications, tools, skills and abilities needed in the IT and Cybersecurity space
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Workday and Taleo
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP guidelines
  • Well versed in the use of social media to attract talent
  • “Can-do” attitude with an openness to do whatever it takes to help move a project forward and the ability to shift gears as priorities quickly change
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
