Technical Recruiter


  • Work directly with managers to create engaging job descriptions
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screenings via phone, in person, and virtually to assess the level of interest, technical skills, qualifications, and compensation requirements of each candidate
  • Identify candidates, coordinate interviews, receive feedback and make offers to candidates
  • Develop a broad professional network of top technology talent and build a strong talent pipeline to hire across a number of technical roles at Brivo
  • Convert passive talent through an understanding of the business and employee value proposition
  • Focus on providing a great candidate experience through every stage of the interview process
  • Stay current with the Washington, DC metropolitan area market trends (i.e. talent pools, compensation and other challenges)



  • 3 + years of experience in recruiting Software Engineers/Developers, Program/Product Managers, and Operations professionals
  • Proven track record of identifying and sourcing candidates that are a strong match to the requirements. Must bring creative ideas that engage top talent
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of HR practices
  • Experience negotiating offers and closing candidates successfully
  • A learner, having the ability to learn quickly and stay educated is critical in the technology world
  • BA/BS degree
